Burger buns recipe
Quick recipe for burger buns
This is a soft bread, and can hold its properties in the fridge for many days.
3.5 cups of bread flour
1 cup of warm water
8 oz instant yeast
4 tablespoons softened butter
5 tablespoon of milk
1.5 teaspoon of salt
1 tablespoon of sugar
How to make it:
Use a bowl to pour the flour
In a large cup dissolve the yeast into the water with the sugar and the milk
Add the liquids to the flour inside the bowl.
Add the softened butter and salt, continue to mix until a dough starts to form.
Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
Cover the bowl that contains the dough with film paper and let it raise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 360 °f
Flat the dough, and divide it in 8 pieces.
Roll the pieces into a ball.
Place the dough balls in a oven sheet, or mold.
Flat the balls and let them rise for 20 more minutes.
Brush with beaten egg.
Put inside the oven and bake for 26 minutes.
